The Storybook

The Storybook is a raw and transparent look into the lives of 6 women in Kansas City, MO attending City of Mercy Empowerment Church who faced life-altering situations that bent them, but didn't break them. Written from 6 different points of view and perspectives, 6 different struggles, and spanning over 6 different generations, the book offers real-life accounts painstakingly lived through yet conquered with grace in a very transparent and life-changing way. From molestation, rape, generational curses, divorce, addiction, and everything in between, this book reaches the hearts of men, women, boys and girls alike.

A Point of Contact

In this book we are trying to bring out the most important aspects of marriage. We have gone through a lot in our twelve years of being married. The thing about marriage is that every relationship has its own story to tell. Our story is not your story, and your story is not our story, and that's what makes life challenges different. Yet we can only tell the story through our experience.

If Misery Could Talk (The Untold)

From an intense personal perspective on misery and grief, the author describes the wisdom she gained from her own painful life experiences. Widowed at 19 and struggling to find the will to carry on, sadness seemed to overwhelm her until she found joy and peace through the glory of God's grace.

Widowed At 19

Widowed at 19 is a story of loss. It's a story of regaining control over one's life. But most of all, it's a story of learning to lean on the Lord at one's lowest point. Widowed at 19 is also Nadja Brown's story. The book was written to help readers conquer life's falls, whether it be death itself or adversity in general. Widowed at 19 tells the story of Nadja's pain after losing her husband in a fluke accident, and how she is still healing. In her book, Nadja discusses how she learned to walk with the Lord and regain control of her life after living through one of its greatest tragedies.
